Custom Segment reporting has been a highly requested feature from our customer base, as it allows a more granular view into specific Google Analytics audience data. We took our customer's feedback seriously, and as of today Quill Engage users have the ability to receive a report based off of the data in a Google Analytics Custom Segment.
You may be asking yourself, “What are Custom Segments and how could they improve my Quill Engage reports?” Great question!
Custom Segments are used to isolate specific traffic in Google Analytics. Marketers use custom segments to gain insight into defined customer types or specific paid advertising traffic. Some even people use them to filter out spam traffic!
Quill Engage typically reports on all website data associated with a Google Analytics View. By applying Custom Segments, your report gets much more targeted with Quill Engage providing insights on only that segment.
